Rate Comparison uses the supplier-material rates held in TaameerPro; it does not fetch live market quotations. With the Rate Comparison feature, open the page, select a material and inspect the vendors, rates and available ordering details. Make sure the catalogue specification and unit describe the product you actually intend to buy.

Select comparable offers
Choose the material and relevant vendors. Check that the unit and specification match across rows.

Review more than the unit price
Compare recorded rates alongside minimum order and lead time where supplied. Confirm whether the rate is still valid before deciding.

Use the chosen supplier in purchasing
Prepare the order with the agreed quantities and terms. A comparison does not place an order or guarantee supply.
Check more than the lowest number
Review rate history, minimum order quantities, lead time and supplier notes where shown. Confirm whether transport, quality requirements and commercial terms are covered in the actual offer. A cheaper supplier who cannot meet the slab date may be the wrong choice. Outdated or missing rates require an update to the vendor-material record or review of a vendor proposal.
Carry the agreed price into the order
Use the comparison to prepare a purchase order, then check the actual line rate before submitting it. The comparison does not itself create an order or approve a supplier. Material Estimation is a separate feature for planned quantities and costs; its historical URL is linked here for continuity, but the two screens serve different tasks.
