Find the right place for each job
Projects hold the job, stages and related tabs. Procurement holds materials, vendors, orders, deliveries, requisitions, stock and consumption. Workforce holds contractors, labourers, assignments, attendance and wages. Finance records payments, costs and, when available, IPCs, variations and advanced reports. Documents and discussion preserve the evidence behind these records.
Use the sidebar for company-wide registers and a project’s tabs for that job’s records. A tab may be absent because of permission or add-on access. Clients is the customer directory; Client Portal is the controlled external view. They serve different purposes.

Know what each handover means
A verified delivery updates stock through the receiving workflow. An issue records a store handover; posted consumption records actual use or wastage. Approved payments can create cost records before they are marked paid. Payroll creates wage payments from attendance; it does not transfer money. An approved change order adjusts the project budget and contract value; it does not place a purchase order or collect an IPC receipt.
Reports bring these records together. If a report looks wrong, follow the source rather than editing a second total to match it. For example, verify a missing delivery instead of entering the same stock as a new opening balance. See stock and consumption and payments and costs.
Automatic follow-ups and human decisions
Background work handles notifications, document reminders, overdue checks, PDF preparation and enabled analytical checks. Some updates appear after the original record has saved. Check the record’s status and refresh the relevant list before repeating a submission.
Organization policies change the workflow: payments can start approved when approval is disabled, and approved DPR material usage can post automatically when that option is enabled. Optional module reminders and insights also depend on feature access. Email preferences do not guarantee delivery when the platform or organization has email delivery disabled. In-app records remain the place to check work awaiting action.
